woke up this morning, thought it was saturday

talk about a rude awakening. but i flipped it into a great morning.
gave my sore body a day off from the gym and walked down the street to chucks for oatmeal special. yums.



listening to fresh air podcast today. one of my favorites.
april 15, 2011 podcast is about director sidney lumet, who died april 9.
among the many movies he's directed, dog day afternoon (pacino) and 12 angry men are being discussed in the podcast.
very interesting.
i've added both to my netflix queue and excited to watch them both after listening to a few clips and looking at photos on google.

as for my ohjoy workshop last night :0)
i learned so much. she answered so many questions, and several i didn't even know i had.
i left feeling inspired and a little overwhelmed. so much to do.
but look how much closer i am now.

got email from art theatre long beach.
cute little old timey theatre on 4th st. with 'high school auditorium seats.'
its charming.
the same guy who sells you your ticket runs behind the refreshment counter to pop your corn.

they're showing a new indie film that looks pretty interesting. the big uneasy. film about hurricane katrina. think ill go bike over and check it out.

as for tonight, i have 20 business cards, an empty notebook and butterflies in my belly.
looking forward to this workshop.

also, i've printed about 20 business cards for snax and snake while i'm waiting for my larger stock from moo to be delivered.
i think it would be a good idea to have a few on hand for my workshop tomorrow.
getting pretty excited.
i really feel hopeful and a little bit closer to doing what i want.

excited about the ohjoy! workshop im attending this wednesday. it will be refreshing to be in a room with a bunch of ladies following their dreams.
